Guitars For Everyone

Around 1988

2013

Before I started building guitars, I repaired and resold them. This put a lot of different guitars in my hands over the years and I enjoyed having them for a short time before reselling it.

When I was younger, I played in a rock band around the Twin Cities. I played mostly electrics then, but playing an acoustic was relaxing and a good use of my free time. Playing guitar also taught me the connection between discipline and reward at an early age. It also made me used to learning in my free time, a skill that would later help with school and studying.

As time passed and I grew up, I played my acoustic more and more. Now, I look back to realize that some of the best and worst chapters of my life have played out, pun intended, with a guitar in my hands. I know I'm not the only one out there who feels this way.

I try to remember that with every guitar made at Owasso Guitar Co.... That this guitar could mean everything to someone. It's the reason we are not just a custom built-to-order guitar company and the reason why our guitars have such enduring value.

Some of the most precious guitars aren't built with one person in mind, they are built for everyone. What makes it yours, is quite simply you.
